Thaddeus Ross, the Red Hulk, is the Hulk's self proclaimed arch-nemesis. The character could be recruited during the 2016 event Gamma Attack!, where he appeared as a boss character alongside A-Bomb while under the influence of the Leader.
While talking to Wasp, Red Hulk explained that his reason for hunting down Hulk, is that while Red was off at boot camp Hulk rampaged through Red's hometown, crushing it all but completely, destroying everything Red cared about. While sympathetic, Wasp argues that she doubts Hulk did it on purpose and the two come to a tentative agreement that they could possibly just hold the Hulk, or separate him from Bruce Banner - his alter ego - which Red Hulk admits would make him feel "even less guilty for beating on him", suggesting that he might in fact have a conscience.
